What Is It

Bosch part number D261.205.366-01, the specified mate for the PSS sensor family.

Bosch's PSS fluid pressure sensors use a 3-pin Bosch Compact connector carrying ground, signal, and the 5 V sensor supply. This kit is the housing Bosch lists as the mating connector on the PSS-140, PSS-260, PSS-420, and PSS-600 datasheets, along with the terminals and individual wire seals needed to build a sealed connection on your harness.

What's the difference between Code 1 and Code 2?

The code is the keying on the housing. A Code 1 connector only mates with a Code 1 sensor, and Code 2 with Code 2. This kit is Code 1. The PSS-10, for example, uses the Code 2 connector.

Does it come with terminals and seals?

Yes. The kit includes the housing, terminals, and wire seals.

Do I need this if I buy a PSS sensor?

Yes, unless your harness already has a matching Code 1 connector at that location. The sensor needs a matching plug on the harness side, so most new installs need one.
